Katrina not enacting Mrs. Sonia Gandhi in Rajneeti?

Mumbai: Prakash Jha’s latest film Rajneeti is in the news for quite some time now. First the film was in news for the prank played on Nana Patekar by co-star Ajay Devgn via an innocent Katrina Kaif.
Then what got the movie attention was Ranbir’s role. In Rajneeti for the first time in his career Ranbir will have a performance characterized by grey shades.
Next, director Prakash Jha’s woes with his actors were making news especially Katrina Kaif’s lack of consistency in her looks.
Now, the movie is drawing attention for Katrina’s role fashioned on the lines of that of real life senior politician Mrs. Sonia Gandhi.
However, Prakash Jha was quick to point out that there is no such similarity. Katrina is portraying the role of a politician called Indu Behna.
He said people are assuming things as they are seeing Katrina for the first time in a simple saree-clad, no-make up image. Katrina Kaif is staying away from making any statements with regard to her role.
