Priyanka Chopra, who was a tomboy during her teenage days, always dreamt of pursuing a career in aeronautical engineering.
But destiny had something else in store for her. Opportunity knocked at her door at 17 with her mother and brother sending a form to the beauty pageant Femina Miss India.
She not only wins the contest but also wins the title of Miss World the same year. After this there was no turning back for her.
Priyanka considers 17 as a significant turning point in her life.
She stated that it was at 17 which led the ball rolling and has become the base of where she presently stands thereby adding that she has led two completely different lives before and after 17.
