Mumbai- Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan, who is presently busy shooting for Karan Johar’s Agneepath candidly, confessed that remakes is not his cup of tea.
He added that he was never interested in remakes, nor is he still interested and will never do a remake even in the future.
He stated that he accepted Karan’s offer in Agneepath as it is not a remake but has very little resemblance with the original classic. Hrithik is proud and excited to be a part of the film.
Elaborating on the point, the actor added that while reading the script of Agneepath the director of the film Karan Malhotra took him to a different world all together.
His portrayal of Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in the film is a completely new and fresh character.
Agneepath which also stars Priyanka Chopra, Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor is scheduled to hit theatres on 12thJanuary, 2012.
