Mumbai- Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan was detained at Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport during his return from his London vacation.
He had to pay a fine of Rs 1.5 lakhs. He returned to Mumbai along with his family after a holiday in Holland and London this Thursday.
According to the reports, the star family had done extensive shopping and returned with more than 20 bags.
Reports say that the custom officials allowed Shah Rukh Khan’s wife and children to leave but Shah Rukh was allowed to leave after he paid a hefty fine of about Rs 1.5 lakhs to carry along the excess baggage.
An eyewitness stated that Shah Rukh Khan was not given any special treatment and neither was he allowed to make calls.
Two of his much awaited films this year include Ra One and Don 2.
