Baroda- Mukta Arts a few months ago announced about its venturing into multiplex business with Mukta Cinemas. Its first multiplex called Mukta A2 Cinemas has been launched in Baroda.
This multiplex has 4 screens. This is the first multiplex in Baroda to be equipped with 3D digital screen and exclusive Velvet Lounge along with recliner seats.
Tolu Bajaj, head of Mukta Arts’ distribution and exhibition business stated that they are proud to open their chain of multiplexes with the first being launched in Baroda.
The second will be launched by September in Ahmedabad. He also stated that they are looking forward to open two more multiplexes in Vishakapatnam and Bhopal by the year end.
He further stated that the price of tickets here will be comparatively lower compared to other multiplexes and hence they are initially focusing on smaller towns.
