Mumbai- Khiladi Kumar Akshay, a black belt in Taekwondo will learn combat karate for his upcoming film Rowdy Rathore.
The film has Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead pair. Rowdy Rathore is directed by Prabhudeva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala.
It will be co-produced by Shabinaa Khan. Akshay will train himself in combat karate in an undisclosed location for a period of two months.
Rowdy Rathore has been set in the rustic places of India. As it is an action packed film, Akshay was the apt choice as he is a professional in martial arts.
He can do full justice to the role. Presently Akshay Kumar is hosting the present season of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
