Mumbai- After Minissha Lamba and Bipasha Basu, the latest luminary to be detained at the Mumbai international airport is Vikram Lamba, brother of Indian bombshell Mallika Sherawat.
Custom officials had held Lamba at the Mumbai airport during his return from Dubai for carrying unauthorized foreign currency.
Lamba is a well known figure in Bollywood. He had co-produced Mallika Sherawat starrer Hisss.
Assistant commissioner Sameer Wankhede intercepted Lamba when he was passing the green channel at the Mumbai airport.
Custom officials discovered foreign currency of about 13,000 euros along with personal accessories like iPad, clothes and branded bags worth Rs 4-5 lakhs from his luggage.
Custom officials have stated that Lamba’s case like that of Minissha’s is likely to drag on.
