Mumbai- Following the ICC World Cup 2011 and the Indian Premiere League 2011, the next is the Celebrity Cricket League, which has promised to be better and bigger.

Sports have never been so glamorous. 4 film fraternities—Bollywood, Sandalwood, Kollywood and Tollywood for the very first time will be seen playing in a T-20 format in the Celebrity Cricket League.
The biggest stars in India will take on the field. This game will be played for promoting a good cause of raising awareness on piracy and methods to combat it.
The first edition of the Celebrity Cricket League began on 4th June in Bengaluru and the finals will take place on 12th June in Hyderabad.
Teams-
Telugu Warriors- This team will be led by Venkatesh and the team will comprise of players such as Vishnu, Tarun, Siddarth, Srikanth and Nitin, among others. The team is owned by Vishnu Manchu.
Mumbai Heroes- This team is owned by Sohail Khan Entertainment and the team will comprise of Salman Khan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sohail Khan, Arbaaz Khan, Sonu Sood, Harman Baweja, Aftab Shivdasani, Dino Morea, Kunal Khemu and Mahesh Manjrekar among others. Suneil Shetty is the captain of the team.
Chennai Rhinos- This team will be led by Surya and owned by Prasad MD of GVR Infra and Raja Rao Chairman Prathyusha Group. The team will comprise of Madhavan, Abbas,
Vishal and others.
Karnataka Bulldozers- This team is owned by Ashok Kheny and led by Sudeep.
