Mumbai- Mahesh Bhupathi, tennis player and husband of Bollywood diva turned producer Lara Dutta is gearing up to try his hands in acting.
He is all set to make his debut in a lead role in Bollywood in a film co-produced by him and co-producer of Chalo Dilli, Krishika Lulla.
A source revealed that both Lara and Krishika are looking forward for Mahesh to make his acting debut in their upcoming home production.
The film will be directed by Shashant Shah. Both Lara and Krishika are confident that Mahesh will turn out to be a good actor. Leander Paes, Bhupathi’s tennis partner too has also been roped in for a film.
The source also added that Lulla is willing to share screen space with Mahesh if he agrees to do the film.
Buzz is in the air that Mahesh has accepted the offer and that prior to the shooting of the film; Mahesh will be given a complete makeover.
Confirming the news, Lulla stated that Mahesh is making his debut in their next production which is a drama-thriller. He is just apt for the lead role of Shashant’s upcoming film.
Lulla added that she, Shashant and Mahesh are once again coming together as the trio share similar mindset with respect to making a film.
