Mumbai- Shahid Kapoor will soon be seen in an action film. The film will be directed by Siddharth Anand and it would be a remake of Hollywood blockbuster Knight and Day.
Earlier, Mumbai based tabloid ‘Mumbai Mirror’ revealed this news that Shahid has been roped in for an action film which, will be produced by Ramesh Taurani and directed by Siddharth Anand.
Now, buzz is in the air that the film has been inspired from Tom Cruise starrer Hollywood blockbuster Knight and Day.
A source close to the production house of the film stated that the film will be on the lines of Knight and Day and that the filmmakers are planning to purchase the rights of the original film.
Confirming the news that Shahid’s next is an action film, Anand denied all rumors of the film bearing a similarity with Knight and Day.
The film is original and it is a completely different film altogether. It is an action film to the core.
On the other hand, the producer of the film Ramesh Taurani not only dismissed the rumor but has also managed to oppose the kind of film that Siddharth Anand has confirmed.
Head of Tips company, on the other hand stated that it is a romantic film and not an action film.
