Sinha has been roped in by the maker of Kaun Banega Crorepati, Siddharth Basu to host the Bhojpuri version of the game show.

The show will be telecasted on Mahua Channel. The shooting of the show is likely to commence from next May and it will run for over a year.

A source close to Sinha, who is also popularly known as Shotgun or Bihari Babu has agreed to host the show with an aim to promote and project Bhojpuri language, which is spoken by majority of the people in Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Outside India, this language is spoken in countries like Guyana, Suriname, Fiji, Trinidad and Tobago and Mauritius.

A source close to Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) told “Shatrughan was the first choice to host the Bhojpuri version of KBC. Isn’t he the ultimate Bihari babu?”

He has already started rehearsing for the show. Buzz is also in the air that the makers of KBC have approached India’s former cricket captain Saurav Ganguly to host the Bengali version of the show.

A source stated “Ganguly is in two minds. Thoda dates ka problem hai. Let’s see kya hota hai. The producers are quite keen to have him on board.”

Saurav Ganguly was recently seen performing the role of a commentator in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.
