Mumbai: Twitter has broken Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s heart. He had joined Twitter with much enthusiasm and with the hope that this will help him keep in touch with his fans regularly. But soon things took a negative turn.

King Khan is still brooding from the impact of abuses that he had received online. He stated “I registered on Twitter because Karan (Johar) suggested it to me. I thought that it would be fun interacting with all my fans directly.”
The star said further, “But then something happened recently, which broke my heart. I was left wondering as to why I was being subjected to all this.”
He added “Everybody’s entitled to freedom of speech but posting gaalis and abusive words is another matter. I certainly don’t deserve it.”
“When something bad is written about me, at least I know who’s behind it, but these (on Twitter) are faceless and nameless people. They are just getting a kick by giving gaalis to Shah Rukh Khan, I’m bewildered by all this.”
He concluded “Earlier, I never bothered about such things. But today I have two kids who are growing up very fast. They look up to me. I have my employees who also look up to me.”
He said further, “What was nothing to me in the past is something in the present. Something’s changing within me as my kids and I get older at the same time.”
He said, “I think I’m becoming reclusive as I grow older. I feel the need to cut myself off from negative energies.”
