Mumbai: Box office collections are at an all time low: This Diwali two big films—“Golmaal 3” and “Action Replayy” will be pitted against each other.
On the one hand the songs of “Action Replayy” have hit the chart busters, “Golmaal 3” on the other hand has the advantage of the Golmaal brand. RGV’s “Rakta Charitra” did fairly well at the box office.
Whereas, its Telugu version has hit the theatres. “Jhootha Hi Sahi” on the other hand had a poor opening at the box office. It had an average opening at multiplexes but had a poor opening at single-screen cinemas.
International venture “Hisss” on the other hand had a good opening at single screen cinemas but multiplex audiences kept away from this film largely on account of its excessive nudity.
“Dus Tola” a small budget film was an unmitigated disaster.
