Mumbai: Pakhi Tyrewala has made a comeback on Bollywood with her husband Abbas’ film “Jhootha Hi Sahi” opposite John Abraham.
She made her debut in 2002 with director Hansal Mehta’s film “Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai”. “Jhootha Hi Sahi” has hit theatres today.
Pakhi states “Yes, that’s true. I was hopeful of doing interesting work someday, but nothing was coming along and I had almost given up hope, until this film happened.”
She added “I had gone to narrate the film to John, when he suggested to Madhu (producer Madhu Mantena) that I be cast as the lead since I understood the character completely.
That’s when he also found out that I am Abbas’s wife too. In fact, it was he who convinced me to do the film too. So in a way, I am John’s discovery.” She is full of praises for her co-star John Abraham.
She is of the view that there can be no better co-star to work with for a newcomer than John Abraham.
