Mumbai: The latest buzz in tinsel town these days is that Amitabh Bachchan was offered to play the antagonistic role in “Endhiran”.
Director Shankar revealed this news in an interview. Big B however refused the offer as he felt that this would be unacceptable by the audience.
Numerous of his films where he played the negative role failed at the box office. He added that when this news was revealed to Rajnikanth was very happy and thereby encouraged him to cast Big B.
“Endhiran” is the most costly Indian film till date. The film casts South superstar Rajnikanth and the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles.
It is slated to hit theatres on 1st October, 2010.
