Mumbai (Bollypatrika News): Sajid Nadiadwala’s forthcoming flick “Anjaana Anjaani” is a romantic saga.
The film stars chocolate boy Ranbir Kapoor and the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra in the lead role.
This is a different kind of love story. Unlike typical love stories, in this film romance blossoms when the 2 meet and are about to commit suicide by jumping off a bridge.
Priyanka told “With so many suicides happening it is a topic of discussion in India now.
The greatest thing about this film is that it is the window which shows you shouldn’t do that (commit suicide), you never know when life will turn around.” She added “Give yourself an opportunity.
This message is conveyed in a beautiful way through the film.” The film has been set in US. It is about Kiara (Priyanka) and Akash (Ranbir). Kiara is a San Francisco-based girl and Akash is a New York based boy.
The story of the film revolves around Kiara and Akash, who after several attempts fails to become successful in both their career and love life and hence decides to end their lives.
It is by chance that they both land up at the same time on the same bridge. The film has foot-tapping number and a contemporary appeal.
The music of the film has been composed by Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani. Ranbir stated “Unfortunately our film is coming on that same date.
I wish the film wouldn’t have been releasing on Sep 24 because that day we need to seek harmony in our country and live with peace.”
