Johannesburg: Singer Enrique Iglesias is all set to perform in the opening ceremony of Airtel Champions League T20 2010.
The opening ceremony of CLT20 would begin by 19.30 hrs Indian Standard Time. At the same time, the opening match of the tournament would begin 21.00 hrs Indian Standard Time today.
The ceremony would take place at the Wanderers Stadium of Johannesburg. Enrique said “It is the first game of cricket that I will be watching from the stadium.”
The post star said further, “Occasionally, I used to watch cricket on TV but never really got time to watch it in the ground.”
He also expressed his desire to visit India for a second time next year and said the country holds a special place in his heart. Enrique said, “India is one of my favourite spots.
I visited India in 2004. It is such an amazing country. I am dying to go back there. May be 2011 will be the year.”
