Mumbai: Despite big casts, “We Are Family” failed to hit the box office: One of 2010’s most awaited films, Karan Johar’s “We Are Family”, despite all the hype has failed to hit the box office.

Despite having big casts and impressive performances by Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, the film disappointed at the box office.
The film made a huge box office collection of 2.7 crores from paid previews. On its opening weekend it made a box collection of Rs 14. 2 crores.
Taran Adarsh, Bollywood trade analyst stated that “We Are Family” was expected to make a huge box office collection on Saturday and Sunday but it failed to do so.
As per Adarsh’s estimation, the first week is expected to make a collection of Rs 19 to Rs 20 crores, provided the collection made on weekdays touches 50% of Friday’s business.

i think karan johar has to understand that only casting big stars will not make his film hit. the story of the film should be very strong. i think only “kuch kuch hota hai” and “my name is khan”is the film of that kind.
Now Karan johar should know larger than life films not works always. No message from the film. Its a bakwaas movie. Go for star plus serial instead of this movie
Is se bakwas movie nahi ho sakti. Karan johar ek niahayti bakwas film maker hai. Wo kya samajh te hai audiance pagal hai. Har film me koi koi na koi bimari hoti hai hero/ heroin ko.
