Mumbai: We Are Family hit the box office: Karan Johar’s “We Are Family” has hit the box office.
Kajol and Kareena playing the role of mothers have rocked the audiences. On the very opening day it made a collection of Rs 2.7 crores.
The film was released on Thursday, on the festival of Janmashtami. It was released a day before than the usual release day with paid previews.
“We Are Family” has been distributed by UTV Motion Pictures and is a Hindi adaptation of the Hollywood flick “Stepmom”.
The film stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal along with child artists Aanchal Munjal, Nominath Ginsburg and Diya Sonecha.
