Mumbai: Ex lovers once again re-unite: Director Siddharth Malhotra has roped in ex lovers Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor for his upcoming film.
Siddharth has earlier planned to rope in Kajol for his second flick but since she will be on maternity leave for more than a year, he penned down another script based on a father-daughter relationship.
He plans to rope in Rishi Kapoor to play the role of Kareena’s father. He quoted a news agency “I was the Associate Director of ‘Vivah’. Shahid and I have been close since then. Now we’re even closer. I really value his judgement.”
He also added that he will approach Shahid for the role once he gets the approval from his guru Karan Johar.
