Vancouver: Vancouver 2010: Today, four ice hockey qualifier games between eight men’s teams have been scheduled. The winners of each match will make it to the quarterfinals.
The top four teams in preliminary rounds – USA, Sweden, Russia and Finland have already received byes and are in the quarterfinals.
But, who they will play in the quarterfinals will be decided by the four games being played today.
At 12.00 p.m. Switzerland and Belarus clash and their winner will meet USA in the quarter finals.
At 4.30 p.m. Canada and Germany clash and their winner will meet Russia in the quarter finals.
At 7.00 p.m. Czech Republic and Latvia clash and their winner will meet Finland in the quarter finals.
At 9.00 p.m. Slovakia and Norway clash and their winner will meet Sweden in the quarter finals.
