Golden Globe Awards 2010: With the 67th Annual Golden Globe Awards just round the corner, predictions of who would walk away with the coveted award in various categories are in full swing.

With 2010 Critics Choice Awards for Best Actress being shared by Sandra Bullock and Meryl Streep it is likely that the Golden Globe for Best Actress – Musical or Comedy could be clinched by either of the ladies.

Helen Mirren is a strong candidate for the title of Best Actress – Drama at the Golden Globes this year for her performance in The Last Station.

Stakes are high for Robert Downey Jr. and George Clooney to win the award for Best Actor – Musical or Comedy and Best Actor – Drama respectively.

If Up in the Air does not win the award for Best Picture – Drama then it will be a big disappointment. As far as Best Picture – Musical or Comedy goes I would place my bet on The Hangover.

In my opinion Matt Damon and Mo’nique should walk away with the honors of Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress respectively.

Quentin Tarantino is the strongest contender for the accolade of the Best Director for his film Inglourious Basterds

So, let’s hope the best win and there are no heart-aching disappointments.
