Mumbai: Avantika Ahuja (Kareena Kapoor) who is in US returns to India to visit her ailing father. While in India she falls in love with Ehasaan Khan (Saif Ali Khan) who is a temporary professor at University of Delhi.
Now, Avantika has to return to US but if Ehsaan has to go with her, they both have to be married. So, the two tie the knot and happily leave for US.
But, Avantika’s life is far from being happy. She is caught in a vicious game of deceit and betrayal by her own husband who happens to be a terrorist with a malicious plan.
Does Avantika manage to get her life back together? What happens of Ehsaan’s nasty intentions?
