Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has reportedly turned down to play Raj Thackeray.
Film maker Raju Kokate had approached King Khan to act in the movie Mumbai Tiger, but Shah Rukh was not pleased to the idea.
Now, Marathi film and stage actor Ashok Shinde, has been signed on for the role. He’s said to have the uncanny resemblance to the politician.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh has turned down another offer from Swadesh director Ashutosh Gowariker.
It’s being said that King Khan is serious, following so many flop movies and Kolkata Knight Riders debacle in recent IPL matches.
Ashutosh offered SRK a role in a period film with Rani Mukerji as his screen partner, but after Swades, Shah Rukh isn’t taking any chances.
